Pension landlady Sophie had a different picture of her job as mayor: only a few months in office, the garbage collection doesn't even work anymore. The improvisation artist gets energetic support from Felix, who appeared out of the blue and skilfully turned her head. Now, of all times, Sophie's ex-mother-in-law Brigitte is at the door. The grande dame from Paris wants to prevent an even less befitting successor from Sophie returning to her son Phillippe. While Leonie is happy about her grandma's visit, Sophie wants to know as little as possible about her. She is amazed at the unexpected magic that the ingenious Brigitte unleashes in her weird stable-dweller Barthl: He buys an elegant suit and dresses up properly to impress the elegant senior citizen.
