With his inconspicuous, well-worn leather suitcase crammed with 600,000 drachmas in crisp banknotes, Periklis Lianos leaves behind his sleepy village of Xirochori, desirous of creating a better future in bustling Athens. So, with this in mind, the unsophisticated, good-natured countryman heads to the faceless capital, unbeknownst to him that his precious cargo has already caught unwanted attention.
