Filmado dentro das instalações do sindicato no Atlântico e no Distrito da Costa do Golfo, apresenta cenas de navios, máquinas, vida em refeitórios e reuniões, destacando as rotinas diárias e a camaradagem dos marítimos. Considerado perdido há décadas, o filme foi redescoberto em 1973 e preservado pela Biblioteca do Congresso.
