Naska, the mother of 12 year old Nina, has been discharged from the factory and finds a job in a remote dairy farm in the mountain. Nina can't continue her education even though this is the only way that she will have a destiny different from her mother's. That's why she comes back in town but the school authorities don't allow her to live alone.
