Santa Lucía was the town Sebastian's father spent most of his childhood and the entirety of his youth until he decided to pursue an education in the capital. The documentary follows the everyday life of the locals and how they endure despite being threatened by various factors. "Las Hostilidades' ' analyzes a search for an identity and a feeling of belonging that emerges from places like Santa Lucia. The town, the locals and Sebastian's family are the protagonist of the story. The visual aspects are posed from the empty spaces along with the noise of an idle youth that comes into existence from a counterpoint; a diegesis of silence with dissonant notes that are part of a binary portrait that cannot be separated from its place and its people.
