The Story of Ray, a Personal Injury attorney facing a moral and spiritual crisis. Ray finds himself feeling cursed, trapped, and miserable as a parade of "injured" clients constantly pressure him for their money, most of which is not deserved. He feels he is only an instrument of their greed. The time constraints of his job prevent him from spending time with his family and friends.
