Manuel is a friendly taxi driver em Buenos Aires that helps its beginnings to a famous Portuguese bullfighter dubbed "The Carthusian". Eu travels to Spain to marry a young Sevillian, rich and beautiful and Manuel accompanies him on the trip, as administrator. During the voyage dies "The Carthusian" afflicted with a terrible disease, and before dying makes him promise to his friend Manuel to comfort Solidão, his fiancee. But to get to Seville is confusa with the bullfighter.
