Aristides Andreadis, the wealthy owner of a thriving soap factory, is in for a shock when his right-hand man and conscientious employee, Dimitris Fokas, barges into his house one fine winter morning. A suitcase crammed with jewellery worth fifty million drachmas, an audacious request for a raise, and an honest declaration of love later, Aristides will find himself neck-deep in trouble when his beautiful daughter, Elli, too, enters the picture.
