The movie is about the story of mexican poet Ramon Lopez Velarde, who born in the city of Jerez in the state of Zacatecas. The poet was in love of Josefa dos Reis "Fuensanta". She dies at early age and that makes Ramon to write poetry inspired by her memory. Ramon was involved in the Mexican Revolution as one of the closest colaborators of President Francisco I Madero.
