Bryan Foster, a man of great fortune who lives retired on a Costa Brava estate with his daughter Lolita, has received a death threat. Foster goes to the Barcelona airport to meet Cunningham, an American private investigator to ask for help. The detective cannot help him because he must get on a plane that is about to take off. Hours later, they call Cunnigham telling him of Foster's death. Cunningham, with the help of Inspector Computer begins the investigation.
