When aspiring actress Saori Nakazawa attends an audition for director Keiichi Tazawa's features she is invited to participate in a week-long activity that would also serve as a more complete audition. Having lost her father at a young age and having a dying mother she sees the audition as a chance at a bright spot in her life so is interested and works hard to win the role.
