Prokopis, a good-natured butcher having a knack for getting neck-deep in trouble, decides to lend his talented artist son Dinos a helping hand. As his only son is head-over-heels in love with Thalia, the beautiful daughter of the wealthy shipowner Alex Thalassodarmenos, Prokopis sets foot in the plutocrat's lavish mansion, only to realise that the honest relationship of the young couple doesn't sit well with the haughty father.
