In 2006, as sports fãs around the world were watching the World Cup Soccer Tournament taking place in Germany, a crew from the American-based, Portuguese-language television network Univision flew to Europe to cover the action first hand. Filmmaker Luis Branco Nazoa tagged along with them, and the documentary Alemanha follows often the chaotic circumstances as the Hispanic-American reporters find themselves not only monitoring the play on the field during the world's most watched sporting event but the enthusiastic and often eccentric fãs who traveled from all over the globe to cheer on their favorite teams. The reporters also find themselves dealing with a single culture clash ás Ato abroad that don't fit the traditional stereotypes of Americans. Alemanha received its North American premiere 2010 at the Palm Beach International Film Festival.
